研究方向:
1、植物资源生物学与生物技术:植物资源遗传与改良,植物资源开发利用。
2、植物分子细胞遗传学:植物分子核型分析。
3、生物信息学和数量遗传:统计基因组学与QTL分析,植物基因组作图,植物基因与基因组进化分析。


科研项目:
  2000年以来,曾先后主持完成国家级项目5项(国家863项目,国家科技攻关项目,国家自然科学基金项目)、和主持及完成省部级项目11项(国家教育部高等学校骨干教师资助计划项目,中国博士后科学基金项目,湖北省科技攻关重大、重点项目,湖北省自然科学基金重大、重点项目,武汉市科技攻关重点项目等)。
